"Nice to meet you, Rose, run for your life!" The echo of the Doctors voice from when they first met rang through her head as she began slipping from the bar, her hands the only thing keeping her attached. But this time she couldn't run, she could only fight to hang on. She glanced over at the Doctor who wore a face of pure terror and she struggled so hard to keep her grip on the bar.

"Rose hold on!" The Doctor shouted as Daleks and Cybermen rushed past her into the vortex that was sucking them in. If Rose let go, she would quickly become apart of them. She had to hold on for him. She promised she would. "How long are you going to stay with me?"  he had asked and she had replied that she would "forever."

Somehow the vortex felt like it was becoming stronger and it nearly ripped her from the bar. "Hold on!" the Doctor yelled again. She gazed at him again, determined to keep hold of the thing, the vortex attempting to pull her in as if it were a tornado.

For a moment the Doctor stared at her hand and reached a hand out to her as if somehow, just somehow he could reach her. That he could help her, he had been able to save her so many times and this time he was going to keep trying. He wouldn't let her go.

Realizing that he couldn't, he pulled his hand in again, he had to keep himself attached to the bar he himself was attached to, but then her grip slipped from the bar and she was being sucked in. Never mind that he couldn't reach, he held out his hand, hoping that he could get to her as she screamed, looking at him desperately. "Nooo!" he shouted, the terror even more apparent on his face and knowing he could only hold on for his life now, and he gripped the bar even tighter.

Suddenly, Rose Tyler's father appeared out of nowhere, with the only ticket to save Rose, even if she would be gone forever. They disappeared the moment he caught her, she only had time to give him one last look and as the tornado began to end, he stared at the place where she had vanished as if she would reappear once the vortex had closed, but she didn't.

He released the bar, positioning himself upright and began to walk solemnly to the wall, trying so hard to not cry.

In another world, against that same wall, Rose hit it, over and over again.

"Take me back!" she shouted at it as if somehow she could hit the wall and break through and the Doctor would be standing there and she could run into his arms again and they could run away from that awful place forever. Tears were streaming down her face as she continued to bang on the wall and he family watched her, hating to see her like this.

"It stopped working," she heard her father say behind her and she let out another weak cry. "He did it. He closed the bridge." Rose shook her head in disbelief, the pain unable to stop and she let out one last week cry, because the tears could no longer come.

On the other side, the Doctor finally reached the wall, placing his hand on it, knowing Rose was by that same wall and numbness began to wash over him as he rested his hand against it.

Somehow Rose could feel what he was doing. She somehow knew that he was there with her. Even if it wasn't physically and she lay her cheek against the wall. She let out one last weak cry, wishing there was someway she could say goodbye and she pulled away from the wall as she felt him do the same.

Now, almost two years later, she was back in her home world, looking for hear Doctor. It had been a couple of years since she last saw him on the beach. "Am I ever going to see you again?" she had asked him. She was proving his reply, "You can't wrong.

Then she saw him coming out of the Tardis with Donna Noble and she stood there for a moment, watching in disbelief. The Doctor and Donna were talking so low she couldn't hear it from where she was standing.

The Doctor, confused as to what was now wrong with the universe, gazed at Donna, questioning her about Rose, when she had seen her in the alternate world.

"What did she say?"he asked frantically.

"Just that…the darkness is coming," Donna replied hopelessly.

"Anything else?" he asked. Donna peered behind him for a moment.

"Why don't you ask her yourself," she replied, a small smile beginning to form on her lips.

The Doctor looked at Donna with a confused expression mixed with disbelief and the Doctor turned around slowly when Donna looked behind him again, the confusion leaving his face as he saw Rose's form ahead of him. When he saw her smile.  He stood dumbfounded a moment before turning completely around.

Rose began running towards him, the gigantic gun in her heads making her go a little slower than she usually would as the Doctor began running towards him too. Moments of them running together flashing in both of their minds as the distance between them was closed.
As the Doctor and Rose are seperated, the times they had together flash in her mind.

Then they are reunited again...
