Who is that girl,
Looking back
Through the mirror.
She wasn't there before.

I hardly recognize her.
Has she always worn
That face?
The face of a mother.

A tired picture
With bags under her eyes.
Does she still remember
Who she used to be?

With all the love
And the happiness
That is in her life,
She's still so tired.

Where did the teen go?
She's turned into a woman.
The reflection of who she once was,
Not there to remind her.

All that's left
Are old posters
And CD's.
A faint image of who she used to be.
